The perfect tan is all about proper prep.
Please review before your appointment to ensure the best results.
-
• Exfoliate 24 hours before your appointment using an exfoliating mitt.
• Complete all shaving at least 24 hours prior. Any waxing should be done 48 hours before your appointment.
• Avoid Dove products before your tan. Use brands like CeraVe, Cetaphil, Hempz, or Native instead.
• If your skin is dry, begin moisturizing twice daily several days before your appointment.
• On the day of your appointment, arrive with clean, dry skin. Do not wear deodorant, lotion, perfume, makeup, or body oils. If needed, you may take a quick rinse before your appointment just avoid using soap, body wash, or shaving products.
• Most clients wear a thong, or disposable undergarments are provided. You’re welcome to go topless. If you prefer specific tan lines, wear whatever you’d like to achieve them.
• Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment. Oversized sweats and a relaxed t-shirt are ideal. Open-toed shoes are required.
• If it’s raining, wear UGG-style boots without socks, an oversized hoodie with a front pocket, and loose sweats to protect your tan from moisture. -
• Avoid sweating or getting wet until your first rinse, as moisture can affect development.
• Rinse with lukewarm water only, no soap
• Do not scrub or exfoliate
• For rapid tans, rinse at the exact time instructed -
• Moisturize at least twice daily with a high quality moisturizer starting 24 hours after your tan.
• Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from within. Hydrated skin helps your tan last longer and fade more evenly.
